Stumble Upon Discoveries II
Posted by Nathan under The Big Mitt | Tags: entertainment, stumble upon |Back by popular demand, here are some of the best sites I’ve come across via Firefox’s most excellent add-on, Stumble Upon. Hope you enjoy them as much as I.
- Alternate ending to Lord of the Rings. Hilarious!
- “Jesus Hates the Yankees” shirt. Busted Tees has some other good ones, too, but I’d take this one. Sure, He loves each individual Yankee, but the organization as a whole? No way.
- 26 Advantages to Reading. Some of these are weak and some are redundant, but #4, 12, 23, and 26 are spot-on.
- Which Historical Lunatic are You? I was Caligula. w00t!
- Sloth cartoon. Especially for you, Dan.
- Seven Incredible Natural Phenomena You’ve Never Seen. Wow.
- The Atheist’s Riddle. This fellow uses Information Theory and DNA to posit the existence of a deity. Fascinating stuff.
- Compendium of 150 Monty Python sketches. Perfect for any bad day.
- Gibson Robot Guitar. Umm…one, please!! Oh, pardon my drooling.
- Sweet Free Kick Goals. These are redonkulous. Some of the links on this page look shady, so be careful.
- Music Theory Basics. I learned more on this website about music theory in one night than I had in my entire life. If that’s hyperbole, it’s not by much.
I’ll keep ‘em coming.

“Siblings. Wouldn’t they be better off in bed… yours?” Oh dear!
I was Joshua Abraham Norton, first and only Emperor of the United States of America!

I was Joshua Abraham Norton, too. Wierd.
Thanks for posting these, Nathan. The time spent ’stumbling’ is worth it for the interesting discoveries you pass along.

Yet another happy lunch hour, thanks to your great post!
I was Henry the VI, also known as Henry the Mad. I decided not to bath and my hair and nails fell out, while I went to partys dressed as a “wild man”.
